You cannot install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on your Intel PC. Mac is not supported by intel computers, you need to buy a mac computer in order to install Mac OS. Use Windows on your computer instead...

How is that possible? I already have Mac OS X Leopard on my intel PC. My friend had a Mac OS X Leopard DVD through which he installed Leopard on my computer. I have pre-ordered Snow Leopard. If Leopard is working, why not Snow Leopard?

I have heard people running Mac OS X Leopard on their Intel PCs but legally it is not allowed. The Leopard version you are using is the version which some group of hackers have patched and through the patched DVD it works on normal Intel PCs. Legally and technically you cannot install the original Mac OS on intel PCs. I hope you are clear with the Idea?

A group of hacker named osX86 patched the Mac OS X 10.5 leopard so that it could work on Intel PCs. There is a difference between Intel PCs And Intel Macs. Intel PCs are the native computers which we call IBM compatible. Now Apple also has incorporated Intel processors in their Mac computers which are know ad Intel Macs. The hardware architecture of Intel Macs and Intel PC is still different. This Intel Mac computers are supported by Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The native Mac Computers were known as Macintosh or PowerPC will not support this latest Mac OS X Snow Leopard. I hope its quite clear now...
