Hi to all of you,I have 3 partitions of my 80 GB hard disk, one is empty and another having the my data stuffs. The partition having windows vista installed is almost full, no free space available. I want to expand its size, but is it possible to do without format or reinstall of vista? Awaiting for your valuable reply. Thank you.

I don't know anout other methids, but i think the only way you can expand, delete, create or merge existing partitions with keeping the windows installation is use the third-party applications such as Partition Magic . Get it here : Download Full Version of Partition Magic for FREE

If the free space is on the right of your system drive (otherwise make free space over there) , you can increase the space directly from Disk Management tools. Right click on computer -> manage -> Choose disk management. Disk Management can't expand volume using free space locate before of the partition.

Windows created the low disk space warning to alert computer users when their hard drive is running low on available disk space. Right click on my comp, click on drive that you want to perform scan disk. Goto tools, and than goto scan disk, you will have to reboot the computer and XP will perform scandisk.
