Windows 7 doesn't install SM Bus Controller on Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L Motherboard

Hey Guys!
I installed Windows 7 on my computer and its working fine. all the drivers are installed except the SM Bus Controller for my motherboard. Is this a common issue? Do i need new drivers to be downloaded? I didn't install any driver as Windows 7 took all the drivers by itself...! Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

I guess you need to install the drivers from the motherboard CD. Use the driver that is intended for Windows Vista. [32-Bit or 64-Bit according to your OS] This will install the drivers and you would have no problems then...! I had a similar issue but with other motherboard. Installing the Vista driver works like a charm. Hope this is helpful to you...! All the best..

I have tried to install the drivers from driver installation cd provided with the motherboard. I tried both the CD [XP drivers and Vista drivers]. But nothing seems to help...! I was hoping someone here could help... Thanks again..!

Download the chipset drivers from gigabyte website or from below :

Download - 32-Bit [Vista] [Works for Windows 7 32-Bit]

Download - 64-Bit [Vista] [Works for Windows 7 64-Bit]
