AMD Athlon 2600 frequency is only 1.1 GHz

I have a computer equipped with an AMD Athlon XP 2600 +, a motherboard Asus A7N8X-X, a graphic card Nvidia GeForce 7600 GT (in agp) and 2 GB of RAM and 200 Mhz frequencies.
You will understand the machine is rather old
My problem actually is that the maximum frequency of the processor in the BIOS to 1.1 Ghz (so yes I have 1.1 Ghz).

But on the net for AMD Athlon XP 2600 + I think 1.9 Ghz (and sometimes even more).

I wonder if it was possible to increase the frequency, of course without overclock.

- FSB CPU: 99.45 MHz


The FSB seems far too low for me, on Wikipedia it says that the FSB is 266 MHz.

Yes I already tried (on Wikipedia, on google) and even if there are several variants of the 2600 + at 1.1GHz is no
They are all between 1.9 and 2.1 GHz (or 2.2).

So why mine is only 1.1 Ghz?

In the BIOS, verify that the FSB set to 133MHz (not 266 ), And the multiplier to 16x.
