    Windows cannot run sndvol32.exe

Hello everyone. I'm trying to use the Guitar Pro, involving MIDI sounds, but I hear nothing on my PC. To go to "Audio Devices" of Windows XP to check the MIDI device , which I turned to default and when I click on "MIDI music playback/volume" I get the following: "Windows cannot run sndvol32.exe , use the option to add programs to install. " I've gone to C/WINDOWS/1386 and saw that there was a file named sndvol32.exe. In the folder C/WINDOWS/System32 no SndVol32 file. Add Windows Components/Accessories and Games/Details is no option for audio volume. Any suggestions why I get this message and what can I do to hear MIDI files?

    Hi,

    check the sound settings panel.
You can recover the file from the installation cd rom xp:
    a) Put the XP CD in the drive.
    b) Start/Run/type: cmd and OK
    c) at the black screen type: D: and press enter (D: is the drive letter of your CD put the letter that corresponds to your CD drive).
    d) on the screen, type: cd i386 and press enter
    Here you type the command:
    expand sndvol32.ex_C:\Windows\system32\sndvol32.exe and press enter.

I also happen. Tried to download the file. But then there has always been the channel for mic etc missing. After following instructions, where someone has worked it, all I got back:

    1) after Sndvol32.ch_ looking for (mostly windows/i386)
    2) Rename in Sndvol32.rar (file previously precaution copy)
    3) program winrar and open archives (Sndvol32.rar) unpack
    4) This is the requested file Sndvol32.exe

    Re: Windows cannot run sndvol32.exe

I have a very different trouble with the sndvol32.exe!

I have normal sound, only my micro does not work for TS2 or others!

if I then Control Panel / Sounds and Audio Devices go to the volume to move, it says to me that the SndVol32.exe file is damaged and I should reinstall it.

Unfortunately this file does not exist on my computer nor on the RecoveryDVD! I've tried your suggestions, but on my computer, this file does not exist. also not as sndvol32.ch or without ending!

    what can I do?

To locate this file on your system, open Windows Explorer, click the Search button, and select All files and folders. Type the file name (SndVol32.exe) into the first available line and click the Search button.
