Just Go to the Control Panel->Sound->Under playback tab-> click on Speakers->select levels-> balance.

I'm also using vista, This is Vista and doesn't have what my XP had. When I click the icon I get only 2 options and those are 1) turn volume up or down, 2) mute volume.

    • Right click the speaker icon next to the clock.

    • Select Playback Devices.

    • Select speakers and hit properties.

    • Click the level tab and you can then change the balance for each item with the balance button.

    • If the balance slider isn't there, then you'll need to update the video driver for your computer so all options for the device are present.

    Hope this helps.
