    Windows XP PartMgr code 24

    I have yellow exclamation marks under "Non plug and play drivers" at PartMgr saying Code24 "device not present...not working...or drivers not installed." after viewing hidden devices in device manager.

    I have no idea about this problem and also I do not have any problems at all with Windows XP itself. But I assume it has something to do with it.

    If you have any ideas about this I'd surely appreciate them.

    Not sure about partmgr. Try going to the motherboards manufactureing site and download the chipset installation utility for that chipset...

    Go to Windows XP Recovery Console, and type

    DISABLE PARTMGR

    OR

    If you added new hardware recently, remove and replace the hardware to determine if it is causing or contributing to the problem. Run diagnostics software supplied by the hardware manufacturer to determine if the component has failed.

    The partmgr problem normally happens when you install the Intel Application Accelerator even though it states that the system is compatible with it.
