MCI Message Error

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue from few days with my Pc,Whenever i try to start my Counter strike game i am getting an error message as MCI Message Error Device Driver not ready.After that i need to close the game.This happens each and every time can anyone help me out with this issue.

Intel Dual core 2.66 Ghz
915 MSI Motherboard with Intel chipset
512 mb RAM
80gb HDD

Try to reinstall the sound drivers it would work for you if it doesn't work than try to reinstall the game again.

PC Configuration
Amd 9550
gigabyte 780 with Intel Chipset
2gb ram
300 gb HDD
9600 gt 512

I have try to do that but it doesn't worked for me any other solution please.

I was also facing such kind of issue i try to do the following this and it worked for me hope it will work for you too.

First you need to download the Software by click on Download.

After downloading the software for fixing this issue you need to follow the below steps:-

1. Click Start
2. Type regedit in Run.
   
3. Registry will get open and find one of the following subkeys:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\VFW
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\VFW
   
4. Click on New in the edit menu and click DWORD Value and type MaxVFWConverters
5. Click Modify and type 300 in the Value data box and Click on OK.
6. Make an Exit from Registry Editor.
