Suggestion for Wired & Wireless Home Networking

Hello friends, I am going to setup the Home Network and I want to have some suggestion from you people for this. Can you tell me that if this is possible to create my desktop wireless connection faster. It should be at least inside comparable range toward the wired connection. I will appreciate if I can have any good suggestion for this.

There are many ways to configure a home network: select the right topology for your needs, install the hardware and software, configure everything to work well together. You may encompass computers having some operating system and not always Windows XP, otherwise you might have a Macintosh, the good news is that your network of Windows XP can function with them. Let's see what it takes to set up a network. You probably already have an Internet-connected computer, a printer, or most frequently used devices. If your computer is new and the greatest potential, it is logical to start where you are setting up the new network, the team with the greatest potential is the best choice as the centerpiece of the network. If you are running Windows XP, the network setup wizard helps you do.

The network configuration wizard automates many of the tasks involved in setting up a home network. This is more effective with Ethernet networks, so that will avoid the problem of having to configure some other computers on the network. You will need to ensure that all hardware that is available is adequate and is ready, but most of the work behind the scenes you have to do.

If you do not have the hardware required for the network, the alternative you have is a Windows XP feature called Internet Connection Sharing (ICS). With ICS you can connect one of their computers to the Internet and then surf the web from any computer connected to the network. If you want better results, you should consider purchasing hardware router but ICS lets you share the connection.

Do you have to create a network between two computers only? With Ethernet technology, a network of two computers is the easiest to install. Each team must have an Ethernet card and then can pull including a crossover cable between them. That's it! It is not very different from a device connected to the wall. Note that a crossover cable is not the same as an Ethernet cable adjustment. Try adjusting the cables later. Whenever there is communication between multiple computers, you need a hub or controller, and cables to connect adjustment. Hubs cost less, but drivers can receive and send information more quickly when several people use the network simultaneously. The difference can be clearly shown if you create a network between a minimum of four teams (a rule of thumb is a bit hard). In the end, find hubs that offer support for up to 16 ordinaries but in the long run may end up spending several hundred dollars for a Fast Ethernet port or a multi-gigabyte Ethernet controller.

An infrastructure network can be any type of 802.11 network. An infrastructure network uses an access point, a hardware device through which information moves when going from one network computer to another. In general, you can connect to the Internet from an access point. Ask your Internet service provider (ISP) to see if you can make it work.

I would like to tell you that 802.11a is about five times faster than 802.11b, which operate at 11 megabytes per second (Mbps). It is also more expensive, but if you want to configure a complete network from scratch is as simple as setting up a comprehensive network of 802.11b. If you want to add a faster computer to the old network of 802.11b, you need a special adapter, so the price can vary greatly.

What makes 802.11a network is unique among Wi-Fi is that it runs at a speed of 5.0 mega hertz (MHz) instead of 2.4 MHz (this is the main reason why you need an adapter for run in combination with other Wi-Fi). This will avoid interference problems with most wireless phones usually operate at 2.4 MHz or 5.8 MHz most phones and access points allow you to change the channel, which can help solve this problem.

All network cards have to be compatible with the topology (or backbone) network. So although you can choose between several devices to connect to your computer, you must ensure that what you have chosen fits the network card for each team. For example, five teams with Ethernet cards can form a network connected to an Ethernet hub. You can then connect the Ethernet network to another network created by computers that have different types of network cards and connected through specialized hardware. When you want to connect network technologies, there is usually a solution that does it for you. We can show you a list of all the options here, but I suggest you invest some time to find the best way to combine networks before shelving hardware that still works.
