I cannot install softwares due to virus in Windows 7

At my office pc there was already an infection due to usage of torrent application. Now I just got an application in my usb which is an important database transferring too. It is the regular exe file. When I double click the setup I receive a error. I tried this several times but the setup is not at all working. I need help for this. How to fix this and install the tool. This looks like that virus has modified my file permission and caused the damage in my system.

Click Start, and then click Run. In the box type regedit click OK. Then look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ MSIServer. At the right side double-click ImagePath. You have to edit the string dialog box here. Check the path and then reboot.
