User details sent in plain text by windows security

Hi to all friends. How are you. What’s up. Well, I have been receiving emails from windows security regularly in order to set up an account so that I can access the forums. In order to activate my account, I did click on the link which was sent to me. However, the worry is that the password and user name are conveyed to me in plain text email. I am unable to think that a website which has been dedicated to security would do something so patently insecure.

Hey mate. I am fine and hoping that the things are same at your end. I am shocked that such a susceptible and perceptive information has been displayed over the wire in such a way. It is completely unfortunate and this shouldn’t have happened. However, I feel there should be someone who contacts the authorities which deal with the forum software and take care so that something can be done about it.

Hi. I am glad that I went through the post. Well, you will be even happier to know that I am a senior mod. I will try my level best to look into the issue and get back to you. But co operation is needed from your end too. Firstly, I would imply you that you will have to send me by means of PM a copy paste of the complete email which you have received, if at all possible , also include each and every one the email headers. After I receive it, i will take a step further.

Well, I like to advise you something which can really prove to be useful. Well, when you revert back to the email to the senior mod, do not forget to conceal the password. It is very important. Also, In any case, you do not know about the headers which was mentioned above, then you will be able to see view message source or in that sense full headers or something in that sense inside email software. I am sure this will help you. Thanks.

Hello. According to me, it is very immature all time using the identical userword and also the password for each and every thing which is done on the internet. I generally use different ones for things like forums and some different password for more insightful sites like banking. Also, whenever you register at a forum, you will be required to activate your registration and more often than not your data will be visible in plain text.

Hey dude just went through your thread and also read the replies. Firstly, have to admit, this is really unusual what I read. If your computer is compromised, it is imaginable that the details to make use of this site could be stolen. Also, you are really lucky that senior mod has been through the post. Also, the above post was also indeed nice, suggestion you more information in a detailed manner so that you aren’t stuck up anywhere.
