Hey, I also faced the same kind of problem. In that time I use the internet without installing the antivirus. Then might be at the time of installation the WIN HDD/HDD FRAGMENTER virus came in the computer. After that whenever I have try to start the computer then it do not allow to operate the computer very well. It shows the error like boot sector damaged or Defragmentation is required. Then for solving this problem I have format the C: drive and freshly install the win XP OS onto it. Immediately after that I install the antivirus and scan the computer. It will clean this virus.
