Unable to install the security certificate while logged in as a domain user

I work in a corporate office and all the systems of our corporate are now being upgraded to the windows 7 operating system. now our corporate has issued its own security certificate for Outlook Web Access. So for that purpose I have joined all the computers to the company domain. Now on being logged as a local user I am successfully bale to get the certificate in Trusted Root Certification Authorities also the certificate is being displayed in the list. After that I am successfully able to go to the OWA. Now having said that I cannot repeat the same procedure when I log in as a domain user. The security certificate does not gets installed properly when I am logged in as a domain user. Now I don’t know what the problem with the system. This is happening with the windows 7 pc earlier we had the windows xp and it did not give me any such problem. So that’s what my problem is. Does anybody have problem for this?

Have you tried adding the domain users to the computer's Administrators group. I think probably you have not done that method and hence you are getting such problem. So first check that all the registered users are being placed under the administrator group and then check out if this will help you solve the problem. So first check out with the suggestion that I have given you here you must get through the problem. In case if your problem goes unsolved then do let me know about it I will suggest you some solutions for it as well.

Ok, thanks for your quick reply but sorry to say that I did try with the method and that is not happening with me. I have tried adding all the registered domain users to the administrator group still I am getting the same problem. So what other things can I try here such that it will help me in the process. I tried talking to the other IT staff from my office and they are not having the problem in their departments, then why is it in only in my case? Any other quick solution that you can suggest me over here then that would be better for me.

Try distributing the Certificate Authority certificate that too by using the Active Directory group policy. With the help of the GPO editor you would be able to edit the Default Domain policy. So In the Computer Configuration, go to the following link Windows Settings , Security Settings, Public Key Policies and finally Trusted Root Certification Authorities. Go there and from there select import by doing a right click and I think that will help you. So do try that and let me know if that works or not.

I think this particular problem is because of the server since it is running properly with the local users and not with the domain users and hence I can easily conclude that this problem might have resulted due to the server CA. do try having a talk with the in charge personal that handles the server. So I suggest you must have a talk with them and solve the matter there only. So I hope you have got the point that I am trying to make here.
