    Bitdefender fails to launch after System boots

    I just got the Antivirus on the system of mine upgraded and I have seen that after the installation of the Antivirus I was able to see it getting launched after the system use to boot up. Now I am surprised to see that it is just not getting launched. With the older version of the Antivirus I had never came across this issue but have for the first time encountered this issue here. I would really like to have solution in this case. I am really feeling that this feature must have been introduced soon. Is there some issue with the version of the Antivirus or I will be able to have the Auto Launch feature back for the antivirus here. I have to activate it by clicking on the balloon so as to make the application activate. Any help in the matter will be appreciated.

    Well if you want you can have the issue solved in a very nice way. All you have to do is press the Windows button and then press the R key. Once you do that then you will see the Run window opening. After that in the RUN window type msconfig and then hit the Enter key. After that you will be required to make a click on the startup tab and select ieshow and enable this option. You will have to enable bdagent option as well. Finally hit the OK button. Now after making the changes then you will be required to restart the system. See if the Antivirus comes in action after the Windows Start Up there. Let me get notified about the same. Let me know if you get some other issue with this Antivirus.

    If the above method does not work then I really feel that you will be required to make the reinstallation of the Antivirus there and then see if the reinstallation of the Antivirus Program can fix the issue here. Actually you were not required to go with this uninstallation and reinstallation but if the issue does not get solved with the above procedure then I feel that it is the safe option to go with here. Make sure that you go with the clean installation of the same and see if that can really help you with the feature. Please let me know about the same.

    It seems that you have not installed the newer version of the Antivirus on the system in the clean manner and hence you might have got caught with the issue after you had installed the update. You can try to use the UNINSTALL BITDEFENDER TOOL so that you can just remove the older version of the Antivirus. Once you are done with the same then you will be required to go and download the newer version of the Antivirus and then install it on your system. See if this can help you with the issue that you are actually having there.

    Lots of issues has been seen with the Antivirus here and hence I think that it will be better if you can simply have the installation of some other Antivirus and see if that can help you in any manner. I would like you to go with the AVG or the ESET NOD 32 instead. I am using the ESET NOD 32 for the past two years and I have really not seen the issue here. You can try to have the trial version of the antivirus and see if that can help you a bit with the issue that you are having there. In addition to the above suggestion I would also like you to try for another workaround. Go to the Safe Mode and then type services.msc in the RUN Window. Now see if you can restart the BitDefender Desktop Update Service and then restart BitDefender Virus Shield as well. See if this can really make the difference to the scenario of yours.
