Does NOD32 protect from GpCode trojan

I have recently heard about the domination of the GpCode Trojan worldwide. It has been spreading like anything and in today's world it has become the most dangerous Trojan virus to hit the computers. The main factor of this type of antivirus is that if once if it enters into our system, then you can expect a total clean up of data. Upon that there are very less antivirus who can actually repair or make a permanent delete of such virus from our system. So is the nod32 virus efficient to protect the system from the GpCode Trojan. I hope it will. However do suggest me some steps to ensure that such type of virus does not enter my system. Please do reply as soon as possible.

Well this particular information i got it from the internet saying that it has the potential to sweep all your systems memory and it does so by a strong encryption code. Well there exists different types of malwares and an easy source for the entry of malwares can be the executable files. These executable files can be an easy source for the different malwares to gain a entry. So you have to be very careful while running any executable file in your system. USB or any other portable devices are also a easy source of entry for the malwares. Thinking that you have a antivirus and none of the malware can now gain entry to your system is a wrong approach. You must be responsible enough to not let any outside source entering in to the system. You must take the necessary precaution and the rest should be left to the antivirus program. OK i will take the necessary precaution to ensure that the malware does not enter into my system. Well talking about the information that you gave about the executable files. I was not sure with the information of the Trojan virus. I have the habit of running the executable files in my system because i search the internet and various necessary applications that i need, is stored in the form of the executable file format.
