How to overcome the issue with Wrvs4400n

I have difficulty with high frequency noise. When it is cold then there is no noise, As the router heats up it make a big noise, I believe that it has to do somewhat with the routers overheating since when the router is cold; there is no high frequency noise. I could try place a few heat sinks on some chips and further components in routers box. Do you believe would it be probable to do it? Because I do not desire to reassemble it now, could anybody tell me, what size of heat sinks can I place inside the routers box, if any then please let me know?
After advancing to firmware 1.1.04-ETSI on my WRVS4400N. I have FTP troubles too. I've tried to resetting the router to factory default, reflashing firmware, I've play through QOS, restarting and I have no answer. I cannot use previous version of firmware because it was not steady.

1. cut off "all" cables.
2. Press reset button, plug in power as well stay holding reset button (min. 60 seconds; pressing the reset button constantly for 10 -15 secs can also help speed up clearing of memory)
3. When system approach back up, arrange router "via" Ethernet cable; allocate the computer's NIC the default ip method of 192.168.1.0; go into settings and select "factory default"
4. arrange router "via" Ethernet cable; allocate the computer's NIC the default ip format of 192.168.1.1 again; set your arrangement for the router
5. If dhcp server troubles an ip address, the router is working correctly; if it cannot concern an ip address, the arrangement is still error prone
6. Recur steps 2 & 3 until router can concern addresses through dhcp
7. Once the router is concerning dhcp addresses, the router "should" be working and free of mistake; at present you can reconnect procedure to WAN and LAN ports.
8. Alter the ip address from default ip arrangement to whatsoever scheme you usually use

I think that there are major issue with the WRVS440N router because there router makes noise whenever there is a high voltage current flowing through your pc. It makes your router to heats up and that it is making a noise. Some it also happens that the router cable wire is of low grade quality. So check your Ethernet cable properly if this is not the case then look out for the issues in your power supply.

My only supposition here is that the people suffering from this droning and ftp difficulty must be associated to the most recent group of wrvs4400n's coming out. I get one of the primary ones that come out and I'm not experience any of those symptoms. Because I have check on pc its working fine from sid . I had a wireless failure in 4 hours the first time, but later than redoing the subsequent steps, I've been up for 24hrs so far with no problems using my VOIP router, FTP, or torrents. I'm receiving to download a 12GB torrent in one time to see how it holds up. I'll let you know...

Yeah thank you friend after applying the above method mentioned by Paisley with m my current WRVS4400N is giving nice output as I wished. It has been running properly for about 7 days, 22hrs, and 43 minutes without any wireless dropouts, ftp errors, or voip failure. In addition, the dhcp server mechanism is working without any problems either. I've still been using the "youtube” for a longer time and doing several torrents downloading, to comprise huge LAN transfers; still going away strong.
