I presently purchased a brand pristine latest WRT54G to put in to our Classes network to provide wireless internet. However while I twist AP Isolation on, I can still connect to further devices on the network wirelessly. This is the existing setup:
Code:
192.168.1.107 - Major router, release wireless, AP on
192.168.1.108 - Printer, Static IP, plugged into 192.168.1.109
192.168.1.109 - Protected wireless, plugged into 192.168.1.107, AP off
192.168.1.110 - Protected wireless, plugged into 192.168.1.109 AP off
- Anybody on the protected wireless wants access to the printer and additional computers.
- Anybody on the open wireless can just access the internet.
- I am not certain if I amend the Printer IP that I would be able to get it to work over on every computer. So I have reserved it this way. I really don't know if the AP Isolation is not working, or if I am forgetting something? Or any other problem or mistakes are there?
