    Required help on PHP for windows home server

    I am using windows 7 operating system to the system and recently purchased a home server having the latest level of the windows home server preloaded. I desire to be familiar with does windows server supports PHP out of the box or do I require to set up a PHP engine and a database myself? Please help me in regarding this issue.

    You will need to install the PHP engine to the system and database by yourself. Note that doing so is unproven, and you should possibly not build up database or web site records in the server's distribute, if you are not doing this then it may cause problems with Drive Extender. So try doing which I have stated to you to do I think this may help you to get the desired solution. So try doing this.

    Ok as you have stated to install PHP on the system so I want to tell you that I was asking this because I don’t know how to install the PHP to system. Will you please suggest me to get the solution for the installation of the PHP and database to the system so that the windows home server will be able to get support of the PHP? Thanks

    First you will need to create a PHP test file for the creation of such files you need to follow the steps which I have given below:
    • Unlock Notepad and duplicate & attach the subsequent PHP code under.
      Code:
      <?php phpinfo(); ?>
    • Keep the folder as “info.php” and put it in the origin of your website.
      i.e. C:\Inetpub\wwwroot
    • Most important note to creating the PHP file You have to put permissions on the “info.php” folder for it to be available as of the Internet. Right-click the “info.php” records you just formed, choose “Properties” which is available on the opening on the context menu, hit it off the “Security” tab, and after that hit the “Advanced” key. Now hit the “Add…” key and insert “IUSR_HPSERVER” or possibly “IUSR_SERVER” (without the quotes) in the field. Keep in mind to utilize your unique server name. i.e. “IUSR_ORIGINALSERVERNAME.”

    follow the below steps to install it:
    1. Shoot up your Web browser and form php in the browser’s address bar. You should currently observe the PHP configuration sheet. If you observe this sheet the whole thing installed properly and you are prepared to run PHP function on your server.
    2. If you are not capable to admission the php configuration sheet by means of the php do not fear. Attempt form php in the address bar and observe if that works for you.
    3. If all above proposal do not work for you then ensure you put the agreement for this folder. Also, ensure you located at the php folder in the index you are trying to admission.
