    Netgear WPN824V3 SLOW/BROKEN CONNECTION

Hello I just bought this router Netgear WPN824v3 and I have it set up and it just doesnt work right. I have tried changing the configurations but I am having no luck and have ran out of things to try. First off my connection is slow but it is because i have a broken connection I can see it from my connectivity light it blinks and turns right back on. I seem to have a fast connection when it is wired direct into the router but seem to have a connection break even connected.

Just a little bit on the way I have it set up I have it set as b/g mode only and I have it set to channel 5 as I have checked with a program for channel interference and no one else is using this channel. I have also tried to change the MTU settings and that hasnt worked either. I have the firmware updated to the latest. Also both my laptops are HP's Both have Atheros WiFi Adapter

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Im a do it your self type person and have searched for answers all day and have come up with nothing. LoL

Any other info you may need just let me know and I will let ya know.

    Once again thanks

I can guess here that it’s mostly related to the encryption/decryption, you could briefly test you rates with encryption turned off to see if that is the bottleneck. If you go to the Router Status page in the Maintenance area and pick the Show Statistics button do you see any wireless errors? Have you tried disabling IPv6?

I have added an attatchment with what my statistic window showed me. I am still not having much luck with this router.. I did just disable the IPV6 so im gonna see if that makes much of a difference. My encryption password and everything seems fine this router is a RangeMax and I have read other people having problems with it but nothing the same as mine... Frustrated

    Any other ideas??

    Thanks
