The issue could well being be related to the support of the operating system hat you use. The drivers related to the LAN should be upgraded to the latest pack and then you need to process well. As you have upgraded the system it is essential that the application be worked well with the same. Look out for the same as you might get to a solution then.

Check out for the ip configuration setup that is been initialized or assigned. It could be that the address that is been mentioned may have been re-assigned or set to default because you have upgraded the system. So assign the address for the same again in order to make the things to work out well. Hope this should help. Check out.

This basiclly corresponds to the connection of the DNS settings. It may then indicate the Active Directory authorized DHCP server. Also do check out for the Netbios issue that may then make the things to process out. IT could be the thing. The issue could be that it may be disabled. Check out for the TCP/IP netbioshelper service running. This would then help in sorting the issue.

Enable the computer browser service that may then help in making the things to work out. In a larger network use the WINS-Server. It would be much easier to manage active directory and then use AD DHCP server. Also make the use the advanced settings in the TCP/IP properties to set the WINS server. I hope this would help in sorting the issue.

You need to perform a clean install in order to make the things to work out well. This would then make the things to get sorted. As the clean install would help in formatting the system well and thus this would remove the parameters that is been used or worked out well. So all you need to do is to correct out by implementing the solution.
