    Steps to sharing internet on windows 7

    I want to attach my laptop on a network in my office. I want to share internet on that. It is running on windows 7. Now when I connected my computer the internet does not work properly. I am not capable to get the exact cause of the same. The issue is actually the main server is running on mac operating system. Does this can cause any problem.

    Sometimes you do not see the machine but you can still reach it by name. In this case the only to ensure you do Start Run (or windows key and R) and you type: "\ \ hostname" without quotes of course. Assure you that level of firewall that you allow file sharing and printer pass. by this you can checkout that your network is live.

    If you are trying to access the same on a lan network then you have to check this. The HomeGroup permissions are incorrect the HomeGroup permissions are incorrect The permissions that are required for HomeGroup to function correctly are incorrect. Unadjusted repair permissions HomeGroup may not be Completed. You have look in for more detail.

    A non-Microsoft firewall has been installed on this computer. This firewall may boundary or obstructs HomeGroup connections or interactions. Issue not in attendance to the HomeGroup the sanctuary group is imperfectly configured the HomeGroup sanctuary group is imperfectly configured this computer will not be capable to right of entry to the other homegroup members, and other homegroup members will not be capable to right of entry this computer.

    You are connected to any group resending gateway not connected to any local group. The network has no local group.
