Hello, I have bought a new computer on which i have installed windows 7 and since it is a assembled computer it is not of specific brand. But as i have not installed a software for my computer's security yet, My computer got infected by the Worm.P2P.Dilly.A when i connected my pen drive to this computer. Please suggest me, How to remove Worm.P2P.Dilly.A?

If your computer got infected by the Worm.P2P.Dilly.A then here i have discussed some symptoms that will be shown by your computer system. There would be files in the DC++ shared folders with a double extension ending in .SCR like .WMA.SCR, .AVI.SCR etc. Basically this worm is related to the pornographic web sites so the file names would be randomly created of pornographic movies.

Actually Worm.P2P.Dilly.A is a worm which spreads trough the Peer-to-Peer sharing like there are several software which directly connects your computer with the other systems on that P2P network from which you can directly download the data from somebody's computer. It would be having two extensions for the randomly named files as " .firstextension.SCR. "

I think if you do not have a good copy of the anti virus system then you should always make your firewall on which is a main gateway which checks for the each and every bit of data in order to find any malicious bits in the particular data unit. When your computer gets infected by the viruses then they makes your firewall disable which must be enable again by you manually. Go to the control panel and then Network And Security to switch on your firewall.

NO antivirus is safe today better to stick with Disk freeze software's like deep freeze .Never suffered from any virus in last 2 year(believe it or not).
