Windows Vista-based TCP peer will typically advertise much larger receive window sizes than a Windows XP-based TCP peer. So t disable it Go to start menu > Run a command prompt (cmd.exe) as an Administratorand Type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled.

Vista’s Remote Desktop Connection feature allows you to connect to your computer remotely, only one user can connect at a time. Remote Desktop connections are not allowed at all in the Home versions of Vista. If you are accessing desktop with multiple computer then you will get slow speed.

The Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool checks your Internet router to see whether it supports certain technologies. In the remote desktop connection options check the option :reduce colors to 15bit >do not bring sound to the remote computer >do not map local drives to the remote computer.
