How to hack Siemens Speedstream 4100

I having Siemens Speedstream 4100 modem. I am facing a lot of internet issues from a long times and so would be happy if it is possible to get rid of it. I decided to hack my modem to get some extra speed then my modem is capable of giving me. Can you suggest me some ways how do I hack my Siemens Speedstream 4100 modem?

Even I am trying this from past 6 months but still unable to hack my D-Link modem. Basically I am on 4Mbps connection but I only get 35-40 KBps of speed. I will also like to see if this is possible and would be interested if any one can provide some simply and easy solution for hacking your modem.

Well there are some easy steps which do not involve any hacking but basic guidelines. First and foremost update your modem's firmware, then update your NIC card drivers to the latest date. Then check the DNS address if it is capable of resolving host names effectively and faster. Hacking is not the only solution to get what you want but the wiser you become the better result you will get.
