What is WebIQ Client Software

I had seen a webiq software in my add and remove list. I had not downloaded and install that software. I tried to search about the software on the internet. But could not locate any sources. What is this software all about. Is it is a spyware. Some one told me that it gathers the information of system and send it on the internet. If I delete it then does it will affect my windows working. Thanks in advance.

Open my computer and then go to the c drive. Then you can see the web iq folder either in program file or outside. You can also run a search process for this. Open the webiq folder and then right click on the last file in the list. Then select properties. If it is set as by usability services then it is fine. Otherwise remove it. It is of no use.

If you not aware of the software that you had in your system then just remove it. It can be due to some third party service which has install the software without the users information. It can also be a spyware and a major threat to your data and system. Run windows malicious software scan. Then go start > control panel > add remove program. Uninstall properly the software and restart your system.
