Each loaded with Filemon monitors Symantec will have it C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\OEM\symoem.dll can not find, it appears that Symantec is the installation disk problem!

    To find a solution:

CcDec.dll rename the copy symoem.dll into the past!

    Hi,

    Addition to SreeKanth's solution :

    • Create that folder c:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\OEM
    • Copy file DefUtDCD.DLL in that subfolder OEM
    • (or any other Symantec *.dll file > 200K)
    • Rename it to SYMOEM.DLL

    Check with Filemon.exe
    The problem is resolved !!!

If you don't do this, your harddisk will be spoiled ...
