Asus router with DD_WRT

I have an old apprentice of a router; Asus wl-500g deluxe, and has just installed new firmware (DD-WRT) because the original firmware would not let me secure network with a WPA code. Anyway, ASUS wl-500g is equipped with USB ports which can be blah. Can be used as FTP server by connecting the hard drive, which I'd like to.

The problem is that I can not find how I do it in DD-WRT? Is there anyone who is familiar with the program and know how to do??

PS: proposals for other firmware where I could make my ftp server is welcome.

I'm using Oleg firmware to the same router. However, only a printer is connected to it and it works fine.
