As you know about the processor the best reasonable processors would be AMD. There is no doubt. You can find an AMD Phenom II X4 955/965 for $150/$165 which is a grand importance. Or you can jump up to the Hexacores and find an AMD Phenom II X6 1055T/1090T for $180/$230. (Newegg Prices). Now for those who are Intel extremes, I would not recommend anything under the i7 930 ($200 form Microcenter) since that appears to be the standard now. Or drop down to the i5 series and find a 760 for $170(Microcenter cost) that can overclock relatively well. It is actually depends on what you sketch on utilizing the computer for and what you are enthusiastic to do, like if you plan on overclock or what.

As I know that I know but I have to purchase a laptop for someone that is actually access level therefore I do not mind core2duo for internet and email. And I am attracted to know the amd equals to them because I observe a lot of names around. So you can purchase it the core2 duo. If you want to use the heavy software. If you want to invest a little bit of more money. Then you should purchase the core i5 processor. Its speed is sufficient. So you can purchase the core i5 processor enable laptop.

Next month I had purchased the core i7 enable laptop. It speed is amazing. But I want to suggest you if you want to invest the more money. Then you should purchase the core i5 processor enable laptop. For future. Core i5 processor is also very good. It is less fast than i7 processor. So without hesitation you can purchase the laptop with core i5 processor. I am suggesting for you core i5 because you can use the any type of software. It will work very fast. If you want to know more about this the you can visit the Intel site.

I have a Sony laptop. There are no the same to Sandy Bridge i5/i7. Arrangable processors smoke the most excellent contributions from AMD; only in greatly threaded applications do the Phenom II quad cores even come close. Now Llano will alter the market, but I need to observe genuine benchmarks first. That’s why if you want to purchase the laptop then you can purchase the i5 processor. But is a little bit of expensive than AMD‘s processor.

You might advantage from a benchmark just offered to me by my Dell rep. From one of my final Server buys, I have a relation to a benchmark site for AMD vs. Intel evaluations. I was astonished that an AMD 12 core CPU did not execute better than an Intel 8 core. Here is what I was offered by my Dell Server rep. but before purchasing the laptop. You should take the help of the internet to know about this. Then you should purchase the laptop.

Re: Want information about amd's equivalent Intel processor

There is no such thing as a straight equal between AMD and Intel processors. Processors have hundreds of millions to billions of transistors, and there are a lot of ways to organize a billion transistors. Each processor has its own potencies and weaknesses. It is not even correct to compare metrics like clock pace and cache size between dissimilar architectures made by the similar company, must less between architectures made by dissimilar companies. To evaluate processors you want to first categorize what the processor will mostly be utilized for (ex: playing games, word processing, internet browsing, CAD / modeling work, video encoding, etc.) and then search Google for benchmarks that test various processors performing work similar to the work that you intend to use the processor for.
