First of all you should know why TRIM command is used it a not a command but a support that is provide to the ssd hard-drive so that it supports the motherboard that has been used .to understand trim support you first need to understand who ssd work . did you know the fact that files that are marked for deletion in ssd are not deleted from the hard-disk right –way , but are instead marked in the hard-drive for deletion. This is where exactly TRIm support comes in .

ACHI is an abbreviation for Advanced Host Controller Interface which is a technical standard defined by Intel company that specifies the working and process of serial ATA host and adapters in a specific manner. IT is known that ACHI drivers are not supported for windows vista. So you Intel SSD G2 toolset would never support it. In order to get it working install with the same procedure on windows xp . Hope that help.

AS per my knowledge AHCI is a subset of AMD raid drivers and that in turn see AMD‘s AHCI as a raid device . So , I suggest you to to boot the your SSD hard-drive under native IDE and then run the toolbox to clean up the solid state drive, then reboot back to AHCI this might help you. And for your kind information Trim has nothing to do with toolbox for of ssd . whereas trim works with only freeing the pages that where in recycle bin.
