Games running bad on Crossfire and SLI

I think this is worth talking about, if only to warn people properly taking into account the multi-GPU configurations. I'll start the ball rolling.BFBC2 gives me around 90-120fps minimum configuration, and about 20-40 in the maximum, with a 4870, with two in Crossfire, is reduced to half or less - about 30-50fps at a minimum and completely unplayable full.CCC 25.10 in version 11.3. I'm very upset because the mainstream and the amount of a BFBC2 reference point is now. I thought I would see the biggest improvements.

That's why I never use xfire / SLI, which would add to the compatibility headaches that already have to deal with a single card with some games, even sound is also a problem with games DOS/Win95/98 which was too old. And not to mention the energy consumption of both cards, from a single high end card should be the goal wherever possible. Thus some games are worst on xfire / SLI.

It's a good upgrade path if you plan to do so, however. My second card is of only 50 pounds, and brought me to a generation of graphics solution in terms of performance. But compatibility is hectic in some games. It's good for working, however, and you can disable the second card for games that are problematic - it just feels like you lost your money, which is annoying.
I have not tried Crysis yet, but I'm assuming he'll be fine with it which is 3 years old, after all. World of Warcraft is a bit strange, I cannot tell there is a difference or not. That game is generally very, very rare in terms of performance.

I had a 4870 before my current card and still think it would have gone to 460, even if there is a Crossfire motherboard. It only seems extra headache too much for too little gain. I sold my 4870 which means the cost is reduced and the performance gets increase so I got upgraded to a 460 instead of going for Crossfire which was similar and more reliable, as well as overclocking had more flexibility.

I tried double checking last night and also BFBC2 scaled fine with crossfire too. Also I tried to play crysis 2 on my rig which has GTX8800which performed well in SLI as I didn’t expected but didn’t worked with my main system which had HD5970 OC. I think that recently changes made CAP3 profiles appears to have killed the frame rates so as to get the flicker fixed. I am not sure about this.

Yeah, this is true that some games run quite badly with crossfire/SLI. This motherboard has some issues regarding games and other few applications. Games don’t run well on this motherboard I don’t the problem for this but I think you must buy a new motherboard rather than using this one. Well I never had any problems while I have installed tri 88 also tried this with tri 570 but it was running fine. You can check out for any more queries on their website.
