Cheapest x86 or x64 processor that supports AES-NI

I need to ask this from you all. Well I need to know that is there any cheap x86 or x64 processor available that supports the AES-NI command. I don’t have any knowledge whether any amd processors will be supporting such commands. Frankly speaking I would be happy If I was working with the intel core i3 but I don’t think so it supports such feature. So if you have any idea regarding this topic or want to share something related to it then do reply as early as possible.

Yes even I agree that the Intel core i3 processors do not support the AES-NI instruction. I think majority of the other processors like intel core i5, i7, p4, p5 processors all support such instructions. In order to clear out the confusions I would advice to have a look at the different processors in the intel websites. You will get a better view of all the processors that support the AES-NI instructions. So do visit the intel processors website you will get the desired solution. Hope this suggestion helps you.

If you ask me then I would advise you to have a look tat he various intel westmere based processors such as gulftown, Clarkdale, arrandale processors. You can also have a look at the newly arrived sandy bridge processors. They will give a definite view of all the processors that support such methods. Also talking about the amd processors then let me tell you that amd’s bulldozer based processors also supports such methods. So if you think that amd processors do not support such encryption method then you were wrong. Have a look at such processors it will definitely give you a good look about such processors.

Hey thanks a lot for the information that you have given. Well I have got all the information here. I did some research in the internet and I found out that Intel core i3, core i5-750 does not support such encryption method. The second generation core i5 processors are the best choice for the encryption method. I have got the exact idea of all the processors which support AES-NI. Thanks for providing all the information to me.
