imac G5 is getting hot after replacing the lower fan

I am using imac g5 at my home. The lower fan in my computer was being damaged, so I have changed the fan with the new one. The new fan which I have installed on my computer is working fine and is very fast. But the problem is that the CPU temperature is increasing down even after the fan is working well without any problem. Can anyone there tell that, what the cause of this problem is? Please try to post you reply as early as you can. Thanks.

In order to solve this problem I will advise you to reset the PRAM in your machine. If doing this does not solve your problem, then I will advise you to reset the SMU. I think that after doing this fix you will definitely be able to fix your problem. If still after trying the fix you are not able to solve your problem. Then I will advise you to show your computer to the same person who has changed your fan. Hope have helped you.

After going through the problem, I think the problem which you are facing is related with the heat sink or the power supply unit. So I will advise you to run your computer using some different power supply unit. I think that after doing this fix you will be able to fix your problem. This is because few days back even I was facing the heating problem in my computer. So I had tried to change my power supply unit and after changing it to new one my problem was solved out. Hope have helped you.

I am providing you a fix, so do try it out on your computer. Firs you will have to shut down the computer. After doing that you will need to unplug the computer's power cord from the switch. After press and hold the power button for approximately 15 to 20 sec. Now release the button and attach the power cord to the switch. Once you have done that, now turn on the computer. Now try to check the temperature. I hope that this fix will help you out.
