Hardware Monitoring Software for Ion motherboard

Hello friends I might be asking you very silly question but I was thinking over this from quite few days so I would want to clarify my doubt. I am having Ion hardware motherboard in my system that allows to view High Definition video on my stem. I want to know that is there any kind of software as such that will help me to know that the system internal ION hardware is being used or not while playing a video.
