    Re: Ram memory parity Error

Parity errors are generally caused by defective memory chips in the computer
Parity errors can also be caused by:
    1. RAM does not match. That is to say a mixture of different types of SIMMs (such as parity and non-parity RAM) on the motherboard.
    2. Incorrect RAM to the motherboard. For example, non-parity RAM on a motherboard requiring parity memory (RAM).
    3. Non-proprietary RAM on a motherboard that required RAM owner.

    Re: Ram memory parity Error

To resolve this problem, obtain and install the latest drivers for your video card. To end this problem, restart your computer in Safe Mode, then turn off your video card:
    1. Restart your computer, hold down the CTRL key until the Startup menu in Windows 98, and then select Safe Mode.
    2. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, then double-click System.
    3. Click the Device Manager tab, double-click the Display Adapters branch to expand it, then double-click your video card.
    4. Clear the check box Available in all profiles, then restart your computer.

This problem may occur if your computer has a video card ATI RAGE Fury with an outdated driver. to determine if the defective memory chips are causing the problem: Remove or replace the memory chips of the computer to see if the problem is solved.
