    Cannot register to NetTV

    I have recently updated the firmware for the Philips 42PFL7665H and after that I am experiencing some problem with the NetTV. Whenever I start that then it tells me that I have not registered to the Club Philips but I have already done that. This was not the problem before the firmware update. I am not able to understand that what is the problem with this and how this can be resolved. If someone over here can help me to understand the problem then I will really appreciate that.

    There might be some problem with the registration that you have done previously and because of that you are getting that problem. So just enter the email address there and it will send you one link on your email. Open that link and just go through the onscreen instruction to complete the registration. Once you are completed with details and registration then you should not get the issues like that.

    If you want then you can try by deleting the NetTV memory and see if that helps you or not. Other than this, you can also try by removing the TV from my Club Philips account and adding that again. I am not very sure that this will solve the problem but you can try it to see if that can help you in any manner. I hope that this will be helpful to you.     The best thing that you can do is to contact the customer support and ask them about this problem. They will tell you that what is the exact problem with this and how this can be resolved. They are the people who know that what can be the possible issues that can occur to this and the way to get it resolved. So do that and also post their response over here as well so that it will be helpful to all the other users who are searching for the same.

    I would like to tell that in my case the decoder is connected with Telesystem TS7900HD the ethernet cable to the router which is updated to the latest software version and my connection is 10 megs profile and test computer is normally 7mega, while testing the menu in the Net-TV is a 4 mega (I do not understand the difference between tests performed by different computer testing sites), but the outcome is positive for HD viewing, at least this is what brings me the test from the net-TV.

    You can try by using some different email ID for that and see, if that is getting registered with the new email ID. Some of the times, there is problem with one of the e mail ID and if we use some other email ID in place of that then it get registered. So you can also try your luck with that and see if that allows you to do the same or not.
