Can I setup Skype on Sony Bravia KDL-40EX503?

I am having a Sony Bravia KDL-40EX503 which I got it recently and would tell you that I am really excited about it. I would tell you that this is really an amazing TV and is really worth using it. Now while using it I was just wondering if it's possible to setup Skype and a webcam on this TV. If so then what equipment do I need to use so that this is possible. Please do get back to me on this as I am really excited and eager to know the solutions for this particular question.

I just had a look at the question that you have put up and would say that this is something which is really interesting that you have put up. Also this is a thing that is being asked by many people. But now coming back to the question that you have put up I would say that the thing that you are asking is actually possible but it is only limited to the 2011 models of Sony. And the one that you are having right now is the 2010 model. So I guess that this is something that might now work for you but if you wish then you can definitely give a try.

I think that whatever is being given in previous solutions is correct but I would say that I will like to add something to it. But at the same time I will say that Sony might publish a firmware upgrade to support Skype on this model.So there are really strong chances of this and I am sure that once this thing comes then there wont be any problem and you can set up Skype on Sony Bravia KDL-40EX503.But I am not very sure that when this will happen.

Thanks a lot for the solutions that you have provided to me and I am really happy for your prompt replies. I would say that I tried to setup the Skype on my own but I was not successful in it and that is the reason why I decided to ask this one.But I hope that they should publish a firmware upgrade to support Skype on this model as soon as possible and then there wont be any problem at all.So this is what I feel and then everything will be fine with me.

I would say that even if the firmware is released but there might be the problems that the older hardware cannot support Skype unfortunately.So you just need to check this out and then I feel that there wont be any problems.But while you get them be sure that you use then properly.Or else you need to buy a new model that will support the Skype.So this is what I feel you need to do to solve the problem that you are facing.
