Is it worth to add spare geforce 8800GTS 512

I have a GTX260 in my gaming machine and a spare 8800GTS 512 spinning. While it is attractive to put that on my machine to download the physics of processing I see no good reason. There seems to be a lot of titles that use of PhysX and its physics engine. Am I missing something? Would there really be a benefit for the 8800 adding to the mixture to the general physical assistance or would simply lost power and added heat?

I having a Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512 at my home desktop machine and I am happily playing Metro AA 2033 and Batman with the help of it. Since I have given this machine to my elder brother, It remains idle 99% of the time, only consume electricity. And I'm not one of those "green monster" either. I'm just concerned about the amount of money I am spending each month, leaving it there.

It will help in games that use GPU PhysX. Physics will not automagically better in anything else. For your information, my overclocked 9800GT will handle PhysX little high in Batman: AA at 60 fps minimum (HD5870 at 1920x1080). The 8800GTS should do quite well with a GTX260 PhysX in games, but as you know, not many titles that great / good. If you have some games where a GPU PhysX will help, also could pull the card in. I can use for other things (folding monitors, multiple, etc.) even better. However, you're probably not losing a whole lot without it, especially since you already have an Nvidia GPU PhysX can do.

It is always better to have two graphic cards instead of having only one gpu in your computer machine. I have seen many computer configurations in which they have added two graphic cards which helps them a lot for playing the high graphical games. Actually even if gpu does not have much power as conpare to the first one but the memory of the second gpu always helps for solving the lagging issue and even multi-tasking.
