Samsung HW-C450 Sound Bar switching through different inputs

I have bought the Samsung HW-C450 Sound Bar for my LG television, however it is automatically changing from one input mode to another.i am using digital output to connect it. I have no idea why this is happening. Anyone else having the same problem or I am the only one here with that problem! It is actually strange!

first check the tv audio output setting. May be you are having trouble with digital mode, try with the optical cable or analogue cable.

Yes, i did the same but still the problem remains same. Now the input mode remains the same for while and changes after some time. It also takes the volume level to zero and I am not able to increase the volume. Is there any hardware compatibility problem. Both the devices are newly purchased so they should not show such problems.

Hi, I am having the same problem with my sound bar. I tried various modes on the tv so that it will adjust to some of them but no luck. I even tried all the alternate cables that were accompanied with the product but there seems to be no solution to this. It kept changing different input modes whole time. I guess I have to replace the unit.

I had called for the Samsung support and they actually gave this solution. Turn off the source device that is your tv and then again turn on the tv and it actually helped me though it is temporary solution. now I am trying to get analog cable for my unit. Has anyone tried the analog cable?

I just had the replacement but the problem won’t go. Just after 2 days it started to act like the one before. I even tried to switch it from tv to my set top box but sound issue remains constant. Is there any solution for that. I have heard that if problem comes out in all the product sold of same model then they recalls the product.

If you are using the set top box then this will help you:
    1. go to the audio setting of your system and select cable box menu.
    2. There you can select your choice whether you want Dolby digital /PCM or PCM mode.
    3.Select PCM.
Reason behind this is, your sound bar is not able to sync with the mode you are choosing.

Hi, this didn't help me with my problem. I have selected PCM only and it still does the cycles. Also the volume level keeps dropping for some reason and a few seconds later it returns back to the the normal level. Anyone know what might cause this?
