    Volume and mute buttons on the keyboard and monitor of HP Touchsmart 600 Quad are not responding

    I am very worried about the problem that I am facing here, I have been trying really hard to fix this problem, but I guess that it a hardware issue an I just don‘t want my warranty to get void by trying out stupid tips, so I have posted my question here, so that I could find an appropriate fix for this, is the volume and the mute button that I have been trying to fix this here, so am I the only one having this problem or it a common problem here ,

    I guess that this problem is more like to be caused by the drivers problem the drivers that you have installed here, might not be proper, or might be corrupted when you installed then so here is a solution for this, so can you just tell me how to fix this problem here, I suggest you uninstall this and then re-install this back again so that it would solve your problem, post back if it does not,

    I suggest you to check the speaker icon so that you can fix this issue this would also help you to adjust the volume that you are having as that might help you to fix the issue that is been faced by you, I have been trying to get this problem fixed by some real good mean. SO here is what I have found till know just check if this help s you out .And I guess this is the problem that is more probably been faced only by you .

    I think you need to download the driver s in the HP official site and select the model number you have after you need to select the operating system you are having and then will have to enter the product number that you have , start downloading an appropriate the driver for this the problem that you previously faced was mostly like to be caused by the installation of an inappropriate driver

    Hey, I have followed the instruction that you have stated above a and I have also downloaded appropriate drivers for my keyboard and the OSD driver, but that just did not solved my problem here , I think that is not an problem that is caused by the software or driver , so it thing that it would be better for me to get this things done with the help of hardware technician , so I guess that it is possibly an hardware issue .

    After reading all the comments that you have tried out here , I just called up the hp technical support center and asked then about the problem regarding the volume and the mute issue , so they told me that it was a problem that is more over caused from the company side and the were likely to fix this soon after doing an narrow down on the problem that we are facing ,s o till then just keep that posted .

    That is an hardware problem and that is sure but then too even if to rule out the different software problem I suggest you to click on the start and then type msconfig in the command prompt and then press enter, and then search for services tab which was open there so I have been trying to hide all the Microsoft services here, so just check on the don ‘t stop services check box in then click on the apply button and then click on the okay button. Restart to check if you still have same problem.
