Can a company can be so different while producing the two products? Recently I bought the iPhone 4 and the problem is that whenever I make a call and after that I bring it near the ear, I do not know but the call gets ended. I think that the cheeks of mine hit the End key on the screen. But the thing is that I never came across such thing when I was using the iPhone 3G. Has anyone else experienced this? I would be really grateful if anyone can come up with the solution for me.

Well to tell you that I have seen some of the cases that you are talking about. I am also a iPhone user and I am using the iphone 3G and as you have said that the iPhone 3G is not suffering from this issue so I will try to get the iPhone 4 of my friend and will try to see if he is also facing the same thing. Well there are lots of posts that are flooded on the Apple’s tech support and I think that they will soon come out with the solution.

I think you will have to contact the Apple iPhone tech support and see what they are saying. I think that the situation that you are dealing with can be best handled with the tech support and they are the best in doing that. I do not think that you will get something in this respect on any forum. I have already visited many forums and I have seen that there are no solutions that can help in this matter. Please visit the nearest Service Center and see what they suggest.

I am also in total disagreement with what you are saying. I am also suffering with the same issue and I have found that the Apple Tech Support is also completely blank about the scenario. I am of the opinion that they are not talking the complaints that are registered under their forum seriously. I went in the Tech Support and asked them about this and he looked at me with surprise and then I showed him the various complain posts, and then he took the iPhone for the servicing.

The real scenario, whenever a call is made, is that when the call key is pressed and when the phone is brought near to the face then the screen of the phone goes completely blank so that the face cannot touch the keys on the screen causing you all this issues. I think that when you are making the call then at that time the screen is not going blank, if it is the case then please let us know and we will try to come out with the solution.

The similar or say the same problem is faced by me. I did not at all know what the problem was, but after the post of Gonzo I have seen what he was telling, and thanks for pointing out that. Please tell me how can I make the screen go completely blank? Also that is not the only case I sometime when end up with the call and when I see the screen I have sometime seen the Contacts being opened. Can you all please suggest me something more in this respect.

I would suggest you to follow the steps below and I think that this will for sure help you get out of the things.

• First go to the Apple’s official Website and see if there is any software updates available for the Apple iPhone 4, I am sure that the updates will do the trick for you.
• If the updates do not does the trick then go for the Master Reset, before that please make the back up of all the data.
• If any how above steps do not work the try the combination of them. After the Master Reset install the updates and see if that can bring the difference.
• At last if neither of the above things work then go to the Service Center and ask for the REPLACEMENT, as I think that this can be the only suitable thing.
