Idle temperature is 60 deg, Corsair H70 installed

I don’t know that what is happening to my system. When I checked for the idle temperature of my computer then it shows that it is 54 degrees. After that I tried with the Intel burn test and that says that the temperature is 60 degrees under 2 seconds and after that it gets stopped instantly. I have already installed the Corsair H70 cooler in my system then also if I am getting the temperature as 60 then it is quite high. Please tell me that what can be the reason behind that and how that can be resolved. Thank you.

Have you fixed the Corsair H70 properly? Try by removing that from your system and again fit that in your computer. Also check if the fans are working properly or not. This can also be one of the probable reasons for this. Also check for the contact flanked by cold plate and the CPU. So these are some of things that you need to check in the cases like this and correct them accordingly. I hope that you will be able to resolve the problem soon. Good Luck!!!

I don’t think that that 60C is very high for the system and it’s not very hot. In my case, this reaches to about 73C. Your temps supposed to be lesser than what you are getting. This is the only reason that I choose air cooling as compared to the water cooling when you are at around ~$100 budget. It will obtain the same, if not enhanced results. I have had zero fate through water cooling kits and just establish H2O to be merit it at about $200 for custom. There are some people who have luck through kits. Your pump most likely isn't functioning properly or you have chosen it incorrectly.

You will require ensuring that you do not damage the thermal paste that will not block when inserted into the clamp that is connected to the motherboard. It happened to me the first time I installed my old H70. It took some fiddling to finally arrive and move the block to get through the clip and be able to give back again until it clicks into place. In doing so, moved the paste all over the place and that is causing the air spaces and make my high temperatures. It's worth a shot to remove it and reapply a pea-sized drop of paste in the center of the CPU and replace the block. I was at 100% 49c load with my H70 and 950 i7 stock speeds.

The best method will be to run the pump in one of the fan headers on the motherboard. Do not connect to the head of the CPU fan that creates a little more work. Connect to a fan connector on the motherboard so you get full speed @ 1400rpm and for pasta, which comes pre-applied. I think not so bad. Just make sure that no air bubbles and is making contact with the processor. Almost there is no curing time, so this should not be a big problem unless the product is defective.

First, check to make sure the pump is running. Do you hear the sounds moving water pump? You are the bomb did not have to be at a rate of 100 percent at all times to gain a lower idle (In fact, I've noticed that even at 100 percent of the speed / Approx. 1000-1100rpm, as shown in HWMonitor for me, temperatures are no different than if it was at 800-900rpm). Replace the cooling block of the CPU, but it took me a good push down and turn to remove all air bubbles and how to install the block on the proper way to sit nice and flat. The pre applied thermal paste is sufficient.
