Best RAM for AMD Athlon II X3 445

Hi i am having the AMD Athlon II X3 445 processor on my system and working with it from the last few months. Till now it is serving me the best. Also i am having the 2 GB DDR2 RAM installed on it. But the thing here is that it is not giving me the enough speed that i need. So i have decided to upgrade the RAM to higher memory. So please suggest me a best Ram which will be compatible for the processor i am using and with maximum memory. I am sure that upgrading the RAM will definitely help my cause.
