How to clean vinyl lps

I am having some trouble with my device and needed to come out from there. Have you any suggestion that can help me. Recently,I got a USB turntable that lets me record from a entire bunch of vinyl lps so I can copy to my iPod. But the Problem is that the lps are have been stored for a long time and have been really dusty and cruddy. Do you all have any ides to or any method to clean them out so I can play them?

If you have a lot of means more than hundred vinyl records I am not gonna to mince words: You need to use a vacuum record cleaner like those sold by Nitty Gritty, VPI or Keith Monks. The results are far quicker, safer and superior to anything you could use to perform by your own hand as the machine will apply the record cleaning solution, properly scrub the record and finally vacuum the dirt and liquid off leaving you with a dry and pristine vinyl record.

There are so many things and methods are being used to clean the vinyl lps but if you will ask to me then I will say then in my case, I have used very simple and common method for all this. As I remember before, there use to be a dust type cloth which is not only capable to clean out the dust but also was specially treated with some sort of oil for the Lps. If you are unable to find the appropriate record cleaning distribution within your area? then don't go to spend money? You can try with the household components also. Use Isopropyl 90% alcohol or higher.

Don't use rubbing alcohol or witch hazel as they have additives that can be harmful for your records. Dish washing liquid without any moisturizers can be adjusted well like Joy or Dawn. It removes the dirty records with fine manner , but you have to ignore getting it on the label and rinsing quickly.
