Sound card with 2 pin Internal spdif

I am looking for a soundcard that can link to my VGA card to output audio through HDMI, the hard part is it needs to be low profile. Looking for SPDIF RCA In/Out for my computer. But it should have 2 pin spdif, if anyone knew of any sound cards that have the above mentioned spdif which will also support ddl and dts then please let me know..

Hey, you have mentioned 2 internal spdif, Do you mean "internal" as on the inside of the pc instead of a output on the back of the card? For outside there are lots of options thus I assume you want it on the inside the pc for some reason, like linking it to a gfx card for hdmi output?

I have purchased "Blue Ray Decoder", The onboard is 2ch only... im running an HP DC7100 which was really desinged for an office, but it makes a great HTPC as its small and incredibly quiet... but obviously lacking in the sound department...

Check your onbord..usually there are pin headers for the SPDIF.It is usually a controller which can be inserted into an ISA slot (or PCI for more recent ones), but more and more motherboards include their own sound card. You won't have true HDMI audio though just plain old SPDIF running over a SPDIF cable. There are two cards coming that will support true high resolution HDMI 1.3 audio standards. You might as well go for the Xonar DX if you can't find the D1. I'm not sure of what chipsets they use etc but even though you have a graphics card in the 1st slot the Xonar DX should work fine in the 2nd PCIe slot.

    Hi Neil'o,

Just wondered if you found a solution? I have just put together an HTPC using a DC7600 and have the same issue wanting to output audio via the HDMI ouput on my MSI N9400GT gfx card.
