Issue with Rode NT1A Professional Microphone

Recently i had bought a new Rode NT1A Professional Microphone for my pc. the problem is that whenever i try to connect my new microphone to my system, it doesn't respond. It get stuck and automatically a window pop up stating "Endnow"comes on my screen. Then i have to click on Endnow in order to terminate the program. Can any body tell me that why i'm having such problem on my system? What can i do in order to get rid of the above issue? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue.

If your microphone is an NTK, K2 or Classic II then always make sure to turn on your power supply. You can also try out the different mic lead, a different channel on your mixer and/or different speakers/headphones to determine whether there is a fault other than with the microphone first.

Have you connected the microphone in a proper way on your system? Check out whether they are inserted porperly or not on your system. Also check out whether you plug the microphone in the microphone device and not in the headphone device.

If still face the same problem, then it is highly recommended that you contact your dealer from where you purchased the microphone, before you try to contact the nearest authorized RODE service centre.
