    Optical or laser mouse?

    Which mouse is the most accurate between the 2?
    I am looking for a new laser mouse (or optical) not too expensive that has a button to configure.

    I is currently a Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000 and it has a button to the left that has a default zoom.

    I would like the new mouse went as this kind of choice available ...

    I would opt for the Laser, more accurate and works on almost
    any surface.

    without being 100% but, with the pilot, some of the Logitech mouse buttons are configured according to our tastes. I have a MX 510 (it works with or without driver) and using the driver I can configure the buttons according to my needs.
