usb storage problem on Asus P5PL2

At startup, the computer gives a message "usb device over current status detected" then turns off! For info, I just installed this motherboard asus P5PL2 on a new computer. Thank you

It looks like your EHCI USB controller isn't working. If you rmmod ehci-hcd, so that the EHCI controller isn't being used, do the USB connections then start operating?

This could be a BIOS problem (check your settings) or a hardware problem
on the motherboard.

Turns out, it was a faulty motherboard. I replaced it today and USB is
now working.
