| Re: Most stable Messenger for Vista?
Vista is having some problem with older version of Live Messenger. The only version which works fine on it is 8.1. While all older version are buggy. I am using this from few months and it looks to be working proper. MSN is enough for group chatting. While yahoo offers you more options with files sharing. But it is correct that it makes the system perform a bit slower. Try 8.1 version of MSN you can download that directly. Do not upgrade the existing one. |

There are ample of light weight messenger that you can try. One of them is Pidgin. It supports various accounts. It is all in one messenger that also supports file sharing. Compare to MSN and Yahoo, Pidgin is more better in terms of reliability. There might be some low features but you can use it constantly on your desktop. While the best in terms of feature is Yahoo. |
