Hello,
to finally make the upgrade to 2.X of 3.0 I prefer to completely uninstall the previous version to install the latest version. That I find cleaner. Admittedly, not everyone shares my point of view, but I prefer.
However, I can not uninstall the beast because of packate MSI or whatever. When I start the uninstall process from the control panel "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows XP, I select OpenOffice 2.3 in the list (although I have 2.4). And I click the "Delete" button.
A dialog box appears: Windows Installer.
Click OK to try again or type in the box below another path to a folder containing the installation package 'openofficeorg23.msi.' ".
In short, I do not have any of this file. I click "Cancel".
An alert box:
"The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access."
I want to uninstall, how?
