    Configuration choices at startup.

Not benefiting as a 1GB of RAM, I would like to cleanse my memory when I use some big program. A change in msconfig, directly by Starter, for example, does not solve my problem.
I would be able to choose at startup between a "normal" (, browser plug-in, connection, anti-virus, firewall ...) and a discharged settings where only the essential process windows would be activated at the outset.
    How?
    Thank you.

    Hi,

With HijackThis, you can really maximize the PC.

    - Download HijackThis from Merijn on your desktop.
    - Click Install to run HijackThis
    - If you're on Vista: Click on>> Run as administrator
    - Double-click on HijackThis
    - Generate a report by following these instructions:
    - Run it and click Do a scan and save log file.
    - The report opens in Notepad
    - Glue the report here, to this:
    - Edit Menu / Select All
    - Edit Menu / copy
    - Here in a new message: right click and paste

It is really obliged to go through HijackThis?
Furthermore, I do not want to remove programs (and processes); only disable everything that I am not useful when I want to work with a big program of 3D, because of my little RAM and my old processor.
The use of 2 user accounts not give me anything,

HijackThis removes only entries starting (As with Msconfig) and can see what program is bigger resource (for experience)
It's not really dangerous, it all depends who interprets your report.

But does choose between 2 or more lists of programs to download to boot!
    And that's what I want.
I know the programs that load and processes that come with it. The problem is not there.
